About The Hosts, Kathryn & Dannion Brinkley

Dr. Carl Calleman 2012: Mayan Wisdom 101 session
Carl Johan Calleman was born on the 5th day of Jaguar in the sacred Mayan calendar. In 1979 after his first journey to the land of the Maya, he gave his first talk with the mention of the calendar and the 2012 end date.

He was born in Stockholm and received a doctorate in Physical Biology from the University of Stockholm in 1984. In his professional career, he was a senior researcher of Environmental Health at the University of Washington in Seattle.

As a cancer researcher, he has lectured all over the world ranging from MIT in Boston to the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine in Beijing and has served as an expert for the World Health Organization. Since 1994, Carl has worked full time researching the Mayan calendar and published three books: Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time: The Mayan Calendar, The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness, and The Purposeful Universe. His books have been translated into fifteen languages. He also publishes calendars and collaborates with representatives of the Mayan council of elders.

Jay Weidner & Sharron Rose 2012: Mayan Wisdom 101 session
Called by Wired Magazine an "authority on the hermetic and alchemical traditions," and "erudite conspiracy hunter," Jay Weidner, is a renowned author, filmmaker and scholar. Considered to be a 'modern-day Indiana Jones' for his ongoing worldwide quests to find clues to mankind's spiritual destiny via ancient societies and artifacts. He is the producer of the documentary films, 2012 The Odyssey, its sequel Timewave 2013, and director of the critically acclaimed feature documentary, Infinity; The Ultimate Trip, Journey Beyond Death.

Dr. José Jaramillo 2012: Mayan Wisdom 101 session
Historian, writer, and filmmaker, Dr. José Jaramillo was the popular host of the radio shows Ancient Mexico (2004 to 2007) and Between 2 Worlds (2007 to 2008) broadcast in Mexico and the United States. José gives lectures and workshops on the meaning of the Mayan Prophecies and the Mayan calendar. He shows students how to use the Mayan calendar for their spiritual evolution and to understand their four dimensional body. He leads sacred journeys to the ancient temples and archeological sites of south Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.

At the age of 13, José began his spiritual life, awakened and aware of the 1987 harmonic convergence prophecy. He currently resides in San Diego with his wife and daughters. He is the author of two books, Greatest Desires and 13:20 , both published in Mexico. He is the creator, writer, producer and director of the documentary Between 2 Worlds.
